are white in colour.

There are 32 pieces in chess game. 

There are 16 pieces each of the player have

first player have 8 pawn(sipahi), 2 rooks(hathi), knight(horse), bishops(camel), 1 king(raja), and 1queen(rani).

Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a checkered board with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid.
